Two years ago, Alessandra and Rasmus applied to Musikmakarna

Published: 8 May 2014

Alessandra Günthardt and Rasmus Palmgren will graduate on 28 May 2014. During two years at Musikmakarna, they have, among other things, managed to write the Swedish IDOL winning song "Belong" for Kevin Walker.

They also had their contribution in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen.

Alessandra has written Azerbaijan's contribution "Start A Fire" with the artist Dilara Kazimova, together with Stefan Örn and Johan Kronlund.

Rasmus, together with two former Musikmakarna students, Patrizia Helander and Jonas Gladnikoff, wrote Ireland's entry "Heartbeat" featuring Can-linn feat. Kasey Smith.

Alessandra: "I am enormously grateful for what Musikmakarna has given me - a fantastic network of contacts and an awareness of what the industry looks like. Musikmakarna is a place where you really get room to grow and dare to try new paths. Thanks for two great years!” Rasmus: "Thanks to Musikmakarna, I got contacts in the industry and my first cuts as a songwriter and producer. I think that everyone who wants to write songs for others should take the chance to apply for Musikmakarna and use the time there to fully focus on the music. There is no better education if you want to work as a songwriter or producer!"

Welcome with YOUR application no later than May 15!

Musikmakarna is an accredited Higher Vocational Education
